Breathe into relaxation

Discover the space where modern science, technology, and ancient practices intertwine with SOMA BREATH. Combining music, breathwork, and guided meditation to help you discover, explore and develop your wellness in mind body and spirit.

Hi, I’m Danny Benz — a certified SOMA Breath® instructor, lifelong student of movement, and someone who believes deeply in the power of breath to bring us back home to ourselves.

I discovered breathwork while looking for ways to create more calm, connection, and balance in my own life. What began as a personal practice quickly became something I knew I wanted to share with others.

My classes blend rhythmic breathwork, guided meditation, movement, and music to create an experience that feels both powerful and approachable. You don’t need any previous breathwork or meditation experience — just a willingness to breathe, explore, and be present.

After more than 20 years working closely with people as a service provider, educator, and business owner, creating spaces where people feel welcomed, supported, and free to be themselves has always been important to me. I bring that same intention into every breathwork experience I lead.

My goal isn’t to tell you how you should feel. It’s to create the space, guidance, and experience that allow you to slow down, reconnect, and discover what your own breath can open up for you.

A space for breathing in community.

Experience states of relaxation and healing in your mind and body through guided sessions for all levels of experience.

SOMA Breath® is an immersive approach to breathwork that brings together ancient breathing practices with modern science, rhythm, meditation, movement, and music.

Rather than simply focusing on taking deep breaths or sitting quietly in meditation, SOMA uses specific rhythmic breathing techniques, breath holds, guided visualization, and specially designed music to create a full mind-body experience.

What makes SOMA unique?

Music and rhythm are an integral part of the practice. Your breath is synchronized with the music, helping you move out of your head and into the experience.

SOMA also draws inspiration from ancient pranayama and meditation practices while incorporating our modern understanding of breath, physiology, and the nervous system.

Each journey can feel different. One class may leave you deeply relaxed and grounded, while another may feel energizing, emotional, joyful, or expansive.

You don’t have to be “good” at meditation or experienced with breathwork. SOMA gives your mind something to follow — the breath, rhythm, music, and guidance — making it an approachable way to experience deeper states of presence and connection.

It’s more than a breathing exercise. It’s an opportunity to intentionally step away from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with your body, your breath, and yourself.

What to Expect in a SOMA Breath® Class

No experience with breathwork or meditation is needed. Just come as you are, get comfortable, and be open to the experience.

Each SOMA Breath® journey is a little different, but classes may include gentle movement and body activation, rhythmic breathing set to music, guided meditation and visualization, breath holds, and moments of stillness and reflection.

I’ll guide you through the entire experience, offering clear instructions and encouraging you to listen to your body and move at a pace that feels right for you.

The combination of breath, rhythm, music, and meditation can help quiet some of the mental chatter of everyday life and invite you into a deeper state of presence. You may leave feeling relaxed and grounded, energized and uplifted, emotionally lighter, or simply more connected to yourself.

There’s nothing you need to achieve and no “perfect” way to experience the class. Your only job is to breathe.

Come as you are. Breathe. Connect. See what unfolds.
